01 What counts as an acceptance?
One signed consent record: a subject confirming a specific agreement version at a specific moment. Re-renders, page loads, and verification fetches don't count. Per event, not per user.
02 What happens if I exceed my monthly limit?
You get warning emails at 80% and 100% of your monthly cap. There's a 10% grace window — new acceptances keep going through while you decide. At 110% of your cap, new captures are blocked (HTTP 429 on the API, a friendly notice on hosted pages) until the calendar month resets or you upgrade. Evidence already captured is untouched.
03 Can I change plans later?
Anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at the next cycle. Evidence already captured keeps the retention of the plan it was created under, or longer if you upgrade.
04 Is my evidence portable if I leave?
Always. Every record exports as a self-contained pack: rendered terms, content hash, timestamp, signature, and verification metadata. Public verification URLs stay live for the full retention window of the plan that created them.
05 Do you offer annual billing or non-profit pricing?
Annual billing is available on Starter and above at 20% off the monthly price. Non-profits and academic users receive 30% off. Contact us with documentation.
06 Why does pricing scale with acceptance volume?
Each acceptance is an artifact we sign, anchor, retain, and serve verifiably for years. The price reflects the cost of carrying that evidence, not seat count or feature gates.
